A Message from Our President

It is an honor to serve as your President for the 2025-27 term. This role is not new to me, as I had the privilege of walking in these shoes many years ago. Today, I am incredibly grateful to stand on the shoulders of the previous board, who laid a strong foundation of excellence upon which we will continue to build.

We have important work to do for our students across South Carolina, and this is where we all come in. Our collective voice is our greatest strength. I am excited to expand our partnerships with the SC Legislative Black Caucus, our school boards association, our area directors, and all of you—our dedicated members.

Together, we will advocate on behalf of our districts to make a greater impact.

We will use our collective voice to bring about change, take a stand on key issues at both the local and national levels, and expand our partnerships far beyond our schools and into our communities.

For this very reason, we need you to stay connected to the mission and vision of the SC Caucus of Black School Board Members.

Yours in Service,
